iFilter Errors in OCR Queue

If you detect ifilter errors in IQ OCR Failure queue, it is an indication that the iFilters were not installed for Microsoft Office documents in the system, so the file(s) did not go through the OCR process and will not be available for full text searching.  You can install the iFilters on the Imagequest server, but a server reboot will be required to complete the installation.

*NOTE:  MS provides 64 bit and 32 bit iFilter packs, please download pack that corresponds to the operating system installed (ie. 64/32 bit)

The 32-bit ifilters will not install on a 64-bit system.  This zip file has the files extracted from the Microsoft install programs.  It includes the Outlook and Office Ifilters for 32bit systems:

* NOTE:  The .MSG ifilter requires the Windows Search feature to be installed in Windows 2008 R2.
