Unable to connect to remote server

This usually indicates an issue communicating with the ImageQuest server on the network.

The error may require an administrator to assist with getting communication functioning properly again.

Areas to check:

  • Is the IQApplication Service Host started/running on the ImageQuest server?
  • Is the Windows Firewall enabled on the ImageQuest server?  If it is enabled, are the proper ports opened (TCP ports 32751, 33176, 80)
  • Does the client hosts file have an entry for the IQ server with a different name and/or IP address?
  • Have there been any recent DNS changes for the IQ server?
