Attribute Single, named element of metadata that can stored, retrieved, and queried in the ImageQuest system. Cabinet Container for a group of related Documents, including all configuration and security information needed to manage those Documents. Data Stream Unstructured binary information associated with a specific Document. Document Individual unit of data stored in an ImageQuest Cabinet. Includes basic information, collection of Attributes, Data Stream, and optional Notes. Document Type Structural description of a Document, specifying the metadata items considered relevant by the ImageQuest administrator. Notes Free-form text information entered by a user. Required Attribute Attribute whose value must be provided before a Document can be stored into a Cabinet. Role Collection of Users with a common set of permissions. Server The physical computer system running the ImageQuest services and hosting the ImageQuest core applications. System Attributes Attributes that are inherent to the ImageQuest system, and cannot be modified or deleted. User ImageQuest security account associated with a Windows login name, which can be assigned permissions to perform key actions or interact with specific Document Types. User Attribute Custom attribute defined by the ImageQuest administrator to store relevant information about a Document. Warehouse Top level container in an ImageQuest system. Maintains connection information for Cabinets. |
