How it works
Capturing documents from HP devices is simple: 1) place pages in the ADF and press the IQmfp icon on the MFP front panel or desktop, 2) authenticate the user, 3) press Scan, 4) when all pages are scanned, press Done. The scanned jobs are queued in an indexer application available from your desktop. Each document is stored as a full text searchable PDF and also tagged with indexing information stored in the archive. Documents are retrieved by entering index values or search terms in a simple browser-based search application. IQmfp also allows you to index, store and retrieve Microsoft Office documents (including e-mail) as well as any Windows compatible file type.
